About 86.3 The Mix
I'm Darcy D — the voice behind 86.3 The Mix, an online-only station launched in January 2025 and built on a lifelong love of radio.
After a PTSD diagnosis in 2020, I stepped away from over 20 years as a paramedic. My home studio became a place of healing — a space to reconnect, recharge, and share positivity through music.
You might notice the ECG line and microphone in the logo — symbols of both my background in emergency care and my passion for broadcasting today.
This station is all about feel-good music and local connection. I'm filling my own cup while hoping to lift yours too — because healing happens in community.
